Battery – Less Sensor Project  The Battery – Less Sensor project consists of using the waste heat present in the processes to power a new generation of wireless sensors without the need for batteries. It allows measuring temperature and vibration in industrial processes or monitoring rotating machines to facilitate predictive maintenance, avoiding production stoppages, and creating early warnings of potential failures in industrial processes. There we will talk, of course, about the collection of energy from waste heat, presenting the advances of our InduEye platform and our European projects LIFE HEAT-R and FET Harvestore. It is essential that we all contribute as much as possible to solve the most transcendental problem of humanity. There is no planet B!

InduEye achieves CE certification

We are pleased to inform that APPlus has certified our InduEye with the CE marking. The CE marking ensures conformity with health, safety, and environmental protection standards for products sold within the European Economic Area. This process implies the end of the prototype phase that began several years ago and has been successfully implemented in different industrial environments, mainly in the petrochemical sector. Our following milestone, in which we are already working, will be the certification to operate in explosive environments (ATEX).

On September 30th, the World Day of Reflection and Debate, organized by ESADE’s Chair in Leadership and Democratic Governance, took place in Món Sant Benet. A day where sixty personalities from the different sectors of the Catalan socioeconomic and political fabric had the opportunity to reflect on the 2030 agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.
